Description

This will blow your head off!!! Developed by Barrett's for the 2014 World Cup, the Sausage was so in demand and huge success it stayed on the production list. Made with Pork Shoulder and Belly Pork, mixed with spices, onion, parsley, garlic, chilli powder and some chilli flakes for that extra Brazilian kick. Filled into a collagen casing and machine linked to give the same consistent size.

12 x links for £3.99 or 2 packs for £7.00.

Cooking

Sausages can be fried, grilled or baked. Cooking times will vary according to the type of sausage but all sausages should be cooked thoroughly until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork and there is no pink meat. Do not reheat cooked sausages once cooled. Cool any leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours and consume within 2 days.

To grill them

Preheat the grill to medium, place the sausages on the grill pan and cook for 6-12 minutes, until thoroughly cooked, turning every few minutes.

To fry them

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Cook the sausages gently in the oil for 10-12 minutes, until thoroughly cooked, turning frequently.

To bake them in the oven

Preheat the oven to 190°C, gas mark 5. Place the sausages on a baking tray and cook for 20-25 minutes, until thoroughly cooked, turning halfway through the cooking time.

Individual types of sausages may have slightly different cooking times check the packet for specific instructions.
