I cannot rate Cleaver Meats high enough. I have not ordered a huge amount of times but I will definitely be getting all my meat from them for now on. Delivery service is great and I think the quality and amount of meat is great value for money.

Christmas Meat Hamper 3
I ordered my Christmas meat as a pre-selected pack, containing a selection of cuts of meat, including bacon, pigs in blankets, and sausage meat. The meat was of good quality cuts and when cooked were succulent, didn't shrink and had great taste.

My order was delivered on time and I was kept up to date with the delivery status. On delivery I was not at home and the driver followed my instructions via ring doorbell app. My order was well packed. I have been delighted with the meat we have used so far and will defiantly order in future when I have used the remainder that I froze. I have been extremely pleased with the overall service, quality and cost and would definitely recommend.

Pork, Sage and Red Onion Sausage
Unfortunately wasn’t a big fan of the sausages, they were cooked in my air fryer, which I always do. The taste was nice, but just didn’t appeal as much as others.

Gorgeous bacon, had two meals from this after Christmas, well worth the money and perfect taste.

Unfortunately had a few issues not with Cleaver meats but with delivery. The guy I spoke to rang me several times and put my mind at rest. So fabulous correspondence from the staff member… However… I would like to make a suggestion in which I did speak to one member of staff about. Please do not use DHL again for meat deliveries. My meat was several days late but the ice packs had all melted. My meat was ok, and I did mention it was fine. The issue is with DHL. They are totally incompetent and their lorry’s are not equipped for storage of fresh meat…. Even on Trustpilot this company have only one star.. They do not show tracking, charge a lot as in premium to chase them up. Please could you find a decent delivery company that maybe has fridges. As you know I was very lucky with my meat, a day later, it would have been off. Please read their reviews. I would hate a fabulous butcher like yourselves be knocked down or lose money on deliveries through no fault of your own. In fact any deliveries I won’t accept them now. Apart from that, your meat is gorgeous so thank you very much.

Extra Lean Minced Beef
I spilt the mince beef into 400g portions and freeze the rest. I find making a stew kind of meal with veg and separate potatoes lovely. Hardly any fat, and taste is lovely.

Diced Beef & Kidney
Made a pie out of this, hardly any Fat, also stews. 1kg is ample for three to four people. Nice red meat and lovely kidney.

Very red lean mince, gorgeous, no fat shown, and I never cook in fat just added water to make yummy gravy.
