4oz fresh handmade burgers.
Ready for the oven, grill, frying pan & BBQ.
Turn your 4-oz burger patties into cheesy mini sliders for a meal the whole family will love. These sliders use juicy, pre-formed ground beef patties (usually 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio) that are cooked and halved to create 8 perfect slider-sized burgers. Pair them with oven-baked fries and fresh veggie sticks for a balanced and hands-on dinner.
4 x 4oz beef burger patties
8 slider buns
8 slices of cheddar or American cheese
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 large tomato, sliced
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ cup pickles (optional)
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
3 large russet potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
2 carrots
2 celery sticks
½ cup ranch or hummus for dipping
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and cut potatoes into ½-inch thick fries.
Toss fries in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Season patties lightly with salt and pepper.
Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover until melted.
In a clean pan, melt 1 tbsp butter.
Lightly toast the insides of each bun half for 1–2 minutes until golden.
Slice each 4-oz patty in half to create 8 mini burger pieces.
Spread mayo and ketchup on buns.
Layer with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles (if using), and the cheesy patty half.
Top with bun and serve!
Peel and cut carrots and celery into sticks.
Serve with ranch or hummus on the side.
Lightly season the patties with salt and pepper only, to let the beef shine.
For an extra kick, sprinkle burger seasoning or garlic salt before grilling.
Serve everything on a large platter with fries on one side, sliders in the middle, and veggie sticks in a cup or bowl.
Season the meat with salt and pepper before cooking.
Don’t forget to bloom the meat.
You also need to make sure your pan, griddle or barbecue is super hot before you begin – this will help to add flavour to the meat, essential for a great taste.
If you are serving the steaks as they are, transfer them to plates and serve hot. If you plan to slice the steaks, transfer them to a cutting board and let rest, for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain. Resting allows the juices to redistribute from the outside of the steaks, if you slice them too soon, the juices will pour out of them.
When looking for the grain, search for small lines running in the same direction across the meat. Cut the meat in the opposite direction that the grain is running.
For a melt-in-your-mouth experience, slice thinly for maximum tenderness.
