FROZEN PRODUCT
Here’s a simple, vet-approved, chicken-feet dog treat recipe that’s safe, healthy, and packed with natural glucosamine and chondroitin for joint health. Chicken feet are a natural chew for dogs, full of collagen and healthy cartilage. This recipe turns them into crunchy, dehydrated treats your pup will love.
500 g (about 1 lb) raw chicken feet, cleaned and nails trimmed
Optional: pinch of turmeric (anti-inflammatory, but check with your vet)
Oven method:
Preheat oven to 175 °C / 350 °F.
Rinse chicken feet under cold water and pat dry thoroughly.
Trim nails with kitchen shears for safety.
Place chicken feet in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Let cool completely before serving.
Dehydrator method (preferred for longer storage):
Clean and trim chicken feet as above.
Arrange in dehydrator trays without overlapping.
Dry at 70 °C / 160 °F for 8–12 hours, until fully dry and crisp.
No salt, oil, or seasoning—dogs’ kidneys and stomachs are sensitive to added flavourings.
Serve as an occasional treat, not a full meal.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks at room temperature, or freeze for up to 3 months.
Great value and my spaniel loves them one a day and his teeth are pearly white even the vet asked what toothpaste I was using. Colvin Ray Martin
